Seasons greetings!

I hope this letter finds you and your loved ones well. As we enter into another holiday season, I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of you for your continued support of Laurel View Village. This has been an exciting year for us as we see construction on campus for the first time in 14 years. Our ten new townhomes are rapidly nearing completion,  and we expect to welcome the first new residents to our community by the end of the year, with the remaining to join us by mid-2025. It has been a tough couple of years for our industry, and to see Laurel View Village growing is a testament to the commitment made to provide services and care for our senior population over 30 years ago.

We are pleased to report that, thanks to your support, last year’s project to refresh our Healthcare and Personal Care dining areas is nearly complete. Tables and chairs have been replaced, and carpet and flooring have been ordered and await installation. Our residents in these areas are thrilled with the updates, and we owe it all to you for making it possible.

This year, we reach out to you with an appeal to help us once again enhance the quality of life for those we serve. As you may know, Laurel View Village is a vibrant community filled with stories, laughter, and cherished memories.  We have identified a crucial need that can greatly enhance our community spirit: a new sound system for both the chapel and banquet rooms at Fresh Harvest. These areas are frequently used by our residents. The chapel serves as the central hub for many campus activities. In addition to hosting church services, Masses, and memorial services, the chapel is used for events such as speaking engagements, concerts, and choir practice. It also provides a venue for support groups, grief counseling sessions, staff meetings, and training sessions.

Meanwhile, our banquet rooms accommodate a variety of community events, including dinners, parties, resident council meetings, and movie nights. Unfortunately, our current sound system is outdated and often unreliable, making it difficult to enjoy these experiences fully. A new sound system will ensure our residents can hear, participate, and engage fully with these activities.

We are seeking to raise ………….to purchase a state-of-the-art sound system for both areas that will meet the needs of our growing community. We have already raised over $12,000.00 towards this endeavor but technology of this type is expensive. Our goal is to raise $…….  which would allow us to update both areas, ‘
