Our Personal Care Center prioritizes person-centered care and the safety of all residents. Our goal is to provide our residents with the necessary support while encouraging them to remain as independent as possible and to empower them to continue doing what they love. In Personal Care, our residents can enjoy private living with the assurance that help is always available. Our team provides medication management, assistance with activities of daily living, clinical oversight, safety checks, and personalized assistance to enhance our residents’ overall experience at Laurel View Village.

Whether a resident craves adventure or leisure, our activities team has the knowledge and resources to pique everyone’s interest. Our Personal Care Center provides a one-of-a-kind life enrichment calendar that includes a list of scheduled activities and their times and locations. Our Personal Care life enrichment coordinator and manager work closely with the residents to design these programs. The residents can attend these activities or choose a self-leisure activity.

  • We recently expanded our outdoor space thanks to Lee Initiatives, which has provided us with more room for outdoor leisure and activities—many thanks to them for their generosity.

Our Personal Care Center is staffed 24/7 with licensed team members, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants. We also have maintenance and housekeeping personnel to assist our residents with all their needs. Our services include three daily meals, medication administration, and management by licensed staff, assistance with activities of daily living such as mobility and personal hygiene assistance, scheduling of appointments, medical transportation, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, and personalized assistance to meet residents’ specific needs.

Laurel View Village has a medical director and certified registered nurse practitioner who visit weekly to see residents on-site. Additionally, these medical professionals are available on call for additional medical support.

Our Personal Care Center offers two-floor plans: a studio apartment or a two-room suite. Each floor plan includes private baths, safety features, efficiencies, and call-bell systems. Additionally, residents can enjoy a mini kitchen equipped with a sink, microwave, small refrigerator, generous closet space, and individually controlled heating and air conditioning.

We have a unique care area called Reflections, which offers specialized memory care. Reflections is designed for our dementia population and housed in a secure 15-bed unit. Our team members are specially trained to provide appropriate support and reassurance while responding to the symptoms and care needs of our residents with dementia.
