All proceeds benefit the Resident Caring Fund Endowment. In today’s world of rising healthcare costs, even seniors who carefully planned and saved for their retirement can run into financial trouble. This fund helps meet the needs of residents who financial resources are insufficient to cover the cost of care. Even with government assistance and paying what they can, there is currently a gap averaging over $50 per person per day. It is our mission and promise to these residents that they can remain here.
Several fundraisers, including the Laurel View Village Annual Golf Tournament, are crucial to contributing to this fund. Launched in October 2002, this fund is our promise to our residents that the same compassion, security, and dignity will be granted to them even if the day comes when they can no longer afford care. Join us at the Windber Country Club on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, for an afternoon of golf.
Registration includes lunch, tournament mementos, cart & green fees, prizes, and more. Registration begins at 11 AM and lunch at 11:30 AM. 1 PM is the shotgun start (scramble), with dinner approximately at 5:30 PM. Please contact Emily Smith at (814) 205-6619 for more information.
