November 4, 2022 Dear Residents, Families, and Visitors, We have increased cases of COVID on campus now affecting all levels. We have a significant outbreak in Vista with additional cases in Townhomes. As of now, no known cases in Cambridge Place apartments. Health Care has positive staff members and residents, while Personal Care currently has positive staff with Reflections considered exposed. We want to stress to families and visitors, most of the cases have been tracked back to off campus exposures. We cannot stress enough, if you are exposed, positive or feeling ill please do not visit. We have identified a total of 8 Health Care residents and 4 Independent Living residents. We have also continued to identify approximately 2-3 employees per week with the latest one being identified today. The current positive employees have not created any new exposures and have not extended any quarantines for residents. August 19, 2022 Dear Residents, Families and Staff, Please read this COVID-19 update for information on the status of the Covid outbreak at Laurel View Village. Since my last update on July 18, we have continued to identify three to four employees per week on average. This week we have identified 2 residents of the Health Care Center as positive. We are unaware of any other residents who are positive or who have had significant exposure. July 5, 2022 Dear Residents, Families, and Staff, Please read this COVID-19 update for information on the status of an outbreak at Laurel View Village. Through routine testing we have identified three positive staff members this week. One of these staff members has caused an exposure to a number of the health care residents. No other resident exposures have been identified on campus from the other two positive staff members. Therefore, residents in the 100 and 300 halls are considered exposed and in yellow zones. June 17, 2022 Dear Residents and Families, Please read this COVID-19 update for information on the status of the outbreak at Laurel View Village This week we have identified no new cases of COVID-19 in staff or residents. Outbreak testing will complete on Friday June 17 assuming no positive individuals are identified. Historical numbers for this outbreak, which began mid-May: Health Care residents: 1, positive upon return from hospital, recovered Personal Care residents: 9, all recovered Independent Living residents: 11, all recovered Staff: 10, all recovered Once again, we are pleased that the outbreak has not spread any further. May 25, 2022 Dear Residents and Families, As we have announced we have a new outbreak of COVID on our campus. Each area on campus is affected differently. Please read this update to understand the situation. Health Care: We have one resident who tested positive upon admission from the hospital. This caused us to open our “red zone” to properly isolate the resident. We are monitoring other residents for signs and symptoms currently. February 9, 2022 Dear Residents and Families, During the week of January 31, we identified one new positive personal care resident and seven employees from multiple areas of campus. Testing PC residents was again completed on February 7 and all residents have tested negative this week. We are awaiting results from employee testing for this week.
