Announcing the 2025 Impact Award honorees

Community Impact Award: This award will honor a resident, communitymember, board member or other who has displayed tremendous dedication to Laurel View Village and whose contribution is of enduringvalue on Laurel View Village or the greater Johnstown region. This year’shonoree is Pastor Wes Yoder, chosen for his years of service to LaurelView Village and his ministry at Davidsville Community Church.

Resident Impact Award: This award will honor a Laurel View Villageresident who has displayed tremendous dedication to Laurel View Village.Someone who has impacted our campus through volunteer work, initiative,creative problem solving and positive attitude. This year’s honoree isThrese Baywood, chosen for exemplify the spirit of Laurel View Village.

Employee Impact Award: This award will honor a Laurel View Villageemployee, past or present, who shows excellence and extraordinarydedication to their position demonstrating our core values of community,integrity, excellence, financial responsibility, and forward thinking. This yearwe honor two individuals: David E. Mishler and Joe Shetler.

Mr. Mishler was the first CEO of Laurel View Village serving from 1992-2012. Joe Shetler has been employed by Laurel View Village since July of 2021 asthe Life Enrichment and Wellness manager.
