2023 Easter Activities for Kids

The Life Enrichment Team is once again hosting a lunch and Easter egg hunt for the families of residents and staff at Laurel View Village on Saturday, April 1, starting at noon. A boxed lunch will be available for $5/person starting at noon in the Vista Multipurpose Room with an Easter egg hunt to follow in the Courtyard Pavilion (weather permitting) around 12:45 pm. If the weather prevents activities from being outside, all festivities will be relocated indoors. The goal is to bring some excitement and joy to Laurel View Village during the Easter season by bringing children, staff, and residents together in a family-friendly environment. We encourage the kids to bring their own Easter baskets but if one is not available, we can provide one for the egg hunt activity. The only cost required is for the optional boxed lunch which includes a sandwich, chips, cookies, and drink for $5 per person. All participants are welcome to bring their own food if preferred. Donations of plastic eggs, baskets, and candy are always welcome! For this event to take place, we need at least 10 kids to sign up by Monday, March 20. If there aren’t enough signed up to host this event, you will be notified by Monday, March 27. All children must have appropriate supervision by the family/responsible party. Please let us know about any dietary or medical restrictions for the boxed meals for sale. If you would like to sign your children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren up, please fill out the online form below: Easter Festivities at Laurel View Village (google.com) Please call Joe Shetler at 814-205-6546 if you have any questions. Thank you for your consideration and we hope to see you there!
