Laurel View Village is a senior living community owned and operated by Allegheny Christian Ministries, Inc., as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. We admit and provide services to all persons without regard to race, color, sex, religious belief, creed, national origin, or physical or mental handicap. Residents must be 55 years of age or older. (Exceptions may be granted upon special request where certain physical disabilities exist.)
With the help of our dedicated staff members, we strive to serve those in need of both minor and major assistance. As people get older, life can become more difficult. It can be frustrating to adapt to the changes you or your loved one is going through. Our top priority is ensuring a high quality of life for all of our residents by showing them the proper love and support they deserve. Our 55+ living community allow our residents to live active, fulfilling lives. During your stay at Laurel View Village, we want you to feel at home, and will go the extra mile to ensure you’re as happy as can be.
Our beautiful retirement community is the result of an initiative undertaken by several local Mennonite churches. We are governed by a board of volunteer trustees, which include representatives from area churches as well as Lee Initiatives, a provider of health-related services based in Johnstown, PA.
We believe our local ownership and not-for-profit status give Laurel View Village an important distinction. Our primary goal is to provide the best possible service to our residents. We do not exist to pay out dividends to shareholders. We reinvest all of our resources into maintaining our property and providing outstanding services to our residents.
