August 28, 2020 – We have received guidance from the state for ongoing testing. At this time with Somerset County counts being low we are required to test staff along with Personal Care and Health Care residents one time per month. This will begin in September.  All new admissions and hospital returns will continue to be required to have a COVID test prior to return, and remain in the isolation area for 14 days. However, should Somerset county cases increase additional testing will be required.

Saturday, August 29, both the Personal Care and Health Care centers will officially be in step three, please refer to our website or packets previously mailed out for the guidance on what this means.  At this point there is no further guidance to all nursing facilities regarding what our next steps are after step 3. We are grateful to be able to reach this step without set back. Laurel View Village currently remains free of COVID-19.
