          Laurel View Village Announces New CEO

For Immediate Release – December 14, 2018 –
Laurel View Village, a full-service Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), located in Davidsville, PA is excited to announce their new chief executive officer (CEO), Mr. Bruce McNabb.  The Board of Directors of Allegheny Christian Ministries, the governing board of Laurel View Village, is pleased to announce that Bruce McNabb has been selected as chief executive officer starting December 17, 2018.  Mr. McNabb has been the administrative leader of several very successful retirement communities in Ohio and Indiana. 

Bruce’s well rounded knowledge and experience of over 30 years in senior housing boasts leadership development, strategic planning, quality improvement, budget and financing, clinical and facility oversight. He has a degree in Business Administration and Accounting with a minor in Bible from Cedarville University.  He is a licensed Ohio and Indiana Health Facilities Administrator and will obtain his Pennsylvania Nursing Home Administrator license.

The Laurel View Village Search Committee, with direction from MHS Consulting, conducted a national search to select the CEO.

“We are excited to invite Bruce and his wife Anita to our campus.  He will complement our current leadership team to maintain our reputation as the best retirement facility in our area while developing plans for our future.  One of his goals is to create even greater relationships both within Laurel View Village and the communities we serve,” said Barry Thomas, Laurel View Village Board Chair.

“I am so excited to have the privilege of working alongside the dedicated professionals here at Laurel View Village,” said Bruce.  “I look forward to serving with all the team members as we continue to grow and build upon the legacy that makes LVV such a special place.”

A Cambria and Somerset County Chamber Mixer is planned for Thursday, February 7th, 4 – 6p.m. to introduce Bruce to the general public.
