Dear Residents and Families,
This morning we have identified two positive residents in the health care center. The families of these residents have been notified. The residents have been moved to our designated red zone, which had currently been sitting unused. All other residents have been tested and results are all negative. We have been testing all staff routinely after our Personal Care center had identified a positive staff person earlier this week. We will continue to monitor staff and residents, following all available guidance.
We have worked to identify exposure levels of other residents and have concluded that the Arbor can remain green and accept visitors. We must use an alternate entrance so that visitors are not passing through areas with exposed residents. Please follow all instructions for entering and exiting.
Additionally, we must currently close halls 1 and 3 to visitors and consider those residents possibly exposed. Currently only compassionate caregivers can be admitted to Halls 1 and 3. Any other visits in these areas must occur as window or virtual visits. Please contact Health Care Life Enrichment to schedule such visits.
Personal Care remains in yellow status while we continue outbreak testing. These new positive cases have not created any exposures in Personal Care and will not delay reopening. We continue to work towards reopening after 14 days of no new cases in that area. Visitation continues to be through virtual or window visits. Please schedule your visit with Personal Care Life enrichment.
For Independent Living (IL), there have been no known cases or exposures to our residents. While general precautions and guidance for IL residents have not changed, we must close the lobby and other common areas of the Personal Care and Health Care Centers. IL residents should not go to the Village Café or main building front desk. Residents may call the front desk for assistance. Also if an IL resident is in need of the Credit Union, they should use the external entrance.
We ask you to join us in prayer for the health and safety of all the residents and staff. Thank you for your patience as we continue to strive to keep everyone safe.
