Dear Laurel View Village Residents and Families,
I am pleased to say that we have another week with very little COVID news to report. We have identified no new cases on our campus. We have been informed of one employee who has been infected off campus. The employee was not on our campus during their infectious period, which has allowed us to stay on track in our reopening plans for dining, visitation, and other activities. This is a good reminder that it is still important to practice proper infection control.
We have confirmed the Giant Eagle clinic for Monday March 8 and have notified the residents who are scheduled to receive their vaccine. Thompson’s Pharmacy will be making regular visits to campus to vaccinate new residents and employees. These visits will have a limited number of vaccines, but if you are a resident or staff in need of the vaccine, please let us know and we will get you scheduled.
As the COVID is lessening in the community so is the information needing to be conveyed. We will not be writing routine weekly communications but will communicate if there is a new outbreak or other information needing to be shared. Each area of campus will continue to communicate reopening steps to residents and families as the situations evolve.
Once again, thank you for all the support for and trust in our staff as we continue to do everything in our power to keep residents safe and healthy.
