          The Life Enrichment Team is once again hosting a lunch and Easter egg hunt for the families of residents and staff at Laurel View Village on Saturday, April 1, starting at noon. A boxed lunch will be available for $5/person starting at noon in the Vista Multipurpose Room with an Easter egg hunt to follow in the Courtyard Pavilion (weather permitting) around 12:45 pm. If the weather prevents activities from being outside, all festivities will be relocated indoors. The goal is to bring some excitement and joy to Laurel View Village during the Easter season by bringing children, staff, and residents together in a family-friendly environment. Pride in Food Service Week The 32nd Annual “Pride in Foodservice Week” is February 6-10, 2023. Founded by the Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals (ANFP), this is a week to celebrate our hard-working food service and nutrition staff and thank them for all that they do. Food service staff work year-round to provide healthy meals for our residents and community staff.  To be successful in this role, food service workers need to perform in a high-pressure and fast paced environment.   Employee of the Month Introduces Melissa Riley Melissa started with our housekeeping department in May 2022, and WOW what a great asset she has been! It is noticeable how she takes pride in her work and is not afraid to clean the areas not so easily seen. Melissa is very kind, respectful, and polite. She’ll stop what she’s doing to help another employee or resident. Congratulations, Melissa!   Remember to vote for December’s employee of the month.   Join us on Saturday, November 12, for our annual Christmas in the Village. This year’s fun includes a vendor fair from 9 am to 3 pm. Kids craft and train display from 10 am to 2 pm, along with a horse and buggy ride around campus! We will also have Pappy D’s and Rosalinda’s food trucks! Join the fun. If you are a crafter or vendor, give us a call. We have a few vendor spots open. Join the fun and get started on your holiday shopping!

Wednesday, October 12, 2022, is the deadline to RSVP for our Thankful for 30 Anniversary Gala. We hope you will be attending this event or decide to donate to The Caring Fund. Join us for a fun event in 1930s style! There will be dinner, live music, dancing, and a silent auction. Individual tickets are $65 and are available at the front desk. Proceeds benefit The Caring Fund
