Vista Apartments in the Heart of the Village
Vista Apartments are the gems nestled in the heart of our main complex. These one or two bedroom apartments are spacious and convenient to all the ongoing activities of the Village. In winter there’s no need to bundle up and go outside. Our chapel, fitness rooms & pool, soda shoppe, lounges, library, game rooms, beauty shop, banking, and doctor’s office are all just down the hall. Vista also adjoins our Personal and Health Care Centers.
At Vista you’re not isolated and alone. It is as if the world awaits just outside your door. You have complete privacy in your own space, with the option of many convenient activities, from meals in the beautiful Vista Dining Room, to swimming and card clubs, volunteering, woodworking and so much more. Many Vista residents have their own cars; others enjoy our free transportation services. It’s easy to feel at home here.
Vista’s central location makes it one of our most popular apartment choices. Parking is nearby and garages are available, but you don’t need a car. Free transportation is provided for shopping and doctor visits. We offer numerous other off-campus opportunities, like trips to ball games and theatre, and we do simple things like fall foliage drives on sunny autumn afternoons. Life is truly enjoyable at Laurel View Village.
Frequently families tell us how much their parents enjoy living at Vista. It is a lovely place, but the surroundings are not the secret; it is the friendliness of our residents, the delicious meals and the many, many ongoing activities, all included at no extra charge.
Laurel View Village offers a major advantage that you will not find elsewhere, and that is priority access to the finest Personal and Health Care in the region. While the possibility of needing care is not something any of us want to think about, it is very important. As we age, the reality is that we may need some care, and at Laurel View Village, that care is here for you.
It may be therapy, just down the hall or right in your apartment; it may be skilled nursing to recover from a fall or joint replacement. Whatever care you might need is already available for you here on campus, easy and convenient.
Each Vista Apartment has a complete kitchen with hard wood cabinetry, full size refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave. Residents may prepare their own meals, or they may enjoy breakfast each morning and dinner in the evening in our lovely Vista Dining Room.
Dining Room meal service is included when you live at Vista. Residents tell us how much they enjoy the friendly wait staff and the companionship of dining with friends.
Below is a photo of Vista’s Snack Shoppe where residents, visitors and staff can enjoy free coffee, or order a sandwich from our grill. We even have a fresh salad bar, and don’t forget our tempting home-made bakery treats. The Soda Shoppe is a real convenience.
Below we offer a new way to tour on-line with a 3D look at a real Vista Apartment. Simply click on the blue 3D Showcase icon below, allow a moment for loading, then use your mouse to scroll. Laurel View Village is a non-profit organization. Funds are not paid out to shareholders, but rather are rolled back into the Village, to maintain facilities and provide the care services our residents need.
